Thon Hotel Oslofjord in Sandvika is one of Norway’s biggest seminar and conference hotels, centrally located in Sandvika, only 10 minutes from Oslo city centre. The hotel can welcome up to 2,200 seminar and conference guests in one day, distributed over large and small meeting rooms with a capacity of from 2 – 1,200 guests per room.

From Oslo Gardermoen it takes 45- 50 minutes with "Flytoget" (train) from track where its written Drammen. Do not take the train to Oslo, becuase then you must change train in Oslo. Flytoget goes from Gardermoen airport from the track written Drammen and with one of the few stop stations is Sandvika.

From Sandvika trainstation you can take taxi to Oslofjord Thon Hotel, it takes about 5 minutes.


About the city:

Sandvika is the administrative center of Bærum, Akershus county. The name relates to the bay of the fjord and the country as alluvial deposits have formed around the outlet.

Sandvika gave itself the title of city on 4 June 2003. Sandvika is located in Baerum, head of the West Lake and about 15 kilometers southwest of Oslo. Bærums administration, along with most other public services, is located in the centrum of the city. Sandvika has since the late 1980s undergone major infrastructural changes and has grown radically. Sandvika is the municipality's administrative and commercial center. Sandvika Storsenter (Bigcenter) has approximately 190 shops spread over an area of approximately 50 000m².
